Julia is a highly experienced Pelvic Health Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates Instructor, dedicated to supporting women’s health and well-being across all stages of life. With an extensive background in public and private healthcare, she founded LVE Physio to provide accessible, evidence-based care tailored to women’s unique needs.

After creating and leading the pelvic health program at a previous clinic, Julia joined one of Melbourne’s renowned women’s health clinics, receiving mentoring, support, and gaining valuable clinical experience. She is committed to advancing her expertise through ongoing professional development and collaboration with fellow senior colleagues in the field.

Julia utilises a range of assessment methods tailored to your preferences and clinical needs, including the use of real-time ultrasound imaging—a less invasive option for those who may feel uncomfortable with internal examinations. She incorporates Clinical Pilates, dry needling, and chronic pain management to provide holistic and goal-oriented care.

She has a special interest in supporting women during pregnancy and postpartum recovery. Especially those navigating complex pregnancies, pregnancy loss and birth trauma —drawing on both her clinical expertise and personal experience with empathy and compassion.

Julia also educates and advocates for women’s health, having written expert articles for health websites and national brands, and has also hosted an exercise television series. Outside of work, she enjoys running, coffee, Italian cooking, and is a devoted mum.

Consulting in the clinic on Tuesdays, ad hoc Saturdays and offers home visits during the week. Mastitis is treated as urgent; she will do her best to accommodate you immediately. If you would like an appointment at an alternative time, a home visit or telehealth, please contact Julia directly.
