At Port Melbourne Medical, we believe that health and care starts at a personal level, but extends to the local Port Melbourne community and worldwide.
Like you, we believe in engaging and supporting the local community, and give back to the community that we’re part of. We value forming strong bonds and meaningful connections within our community.
We are proud to support both the Port Melbourne Primary School and Port Phillip Specialist School by donating medical supplies and defibrillators, giving teachers their influenza vaccine, as well as sponsoring programs, fetes and dinners.
We’ve also supported the Light For Riley Foundation, donating our time and vaccines to help educate new parents about the risks of whooping cough, as well as worked on their stall to vaccinate new parents.
At an international level, we also understand how children who are disadvantaged in developing countries don’t have access to clean, safe drinking water or education. Nobody should have to experience this start to life.
Since opening our medical clinic in 2013, we have sponsored a child named Triza in Zambia through World Vision. This sponsorship helps Triza to get an education and gives her access to food, safe drinking water and healthcare within her community.
"The team at Port Melbourne Medical have been a wonderful support to Port Phillip Specialist School. The supply of both medical equipment, including a defibrillator, and advice has been invaluable and vital to the overall health and wellbeing of our school staff and students."
"The doctors and nurses at Port Melbourne Medical have been fantastic since opening. They go out of their way to help the students, teachers and staff at the school. Recently they donated a defibrillator machine, something that was missing and provide timely advice on medial issues which we are grateful for."
