Dr Tarannum Rahman

BBiomedSc(Hons), MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Tarannum completed her Medical degree at Monash University (graduating with Distinction) in 2012, after completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Honours) in 2008. Dr Tarannum then went on to complete her General Practice training in New South Wales and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018.

Dr Tarannum enjoys all aspects of General Practice medicine and has a passion for patient-centred care and particularly the opportunity to work in a team environment with patients, GP colleagues, nurses and specialist providers to ensure the best ongoing care and advocacy for her patients.

Dr Tarannum has special interests in children’s health, women’s health and pregnancy care, mental health, preventive health, minor procedures including insertion/removal of implanon, skin biopsies, and skin lesion removal.

In her leisure time, Dr Tarannum enjoys yoga, playing piano and spending time with family and friends.
Dr Tarannum is available to provide care to patients at Port Melbourne Medical on:

Varying Weekdays (1pm-6pm)
Most Sunday’s  (9:00-1:00pm)
