Ronnie is uniquely both a Masters Physiotherapist and Podiatrist. With almost 30 years’ experience in healthcare, across multiple sectors (general, elite sport, occupational/corporate, Workcover, aged/disability, public health and private practice), he offers a thorough and comprehensive approach to treating all musculoskeletal conditions.
He has a special interest in all musculo-skeletal pain (headache to foot conditions), and exploring all available tools in addition to typical exercise prescription. As a podiatrist, he can apply bottom-up interventions such as orthotics or leg-length correction. As a physiotherapist, he can also look at top-down interventions such as spinal, posture and core contribution. As a hands-on manual therapist, he can palpate and locate areas (e.g. overworked/ hypertonic/ scar tissue) that are rarely highlighted on MRI scans. He also prides himself on arriving at solutions quickly, to not waste your time and resources. As a practitioner in his 50’s, Ronnie is able to draw on both modern evidence-based practice and old-school established fundamentals.

Ronnie is a father of two, and enjoys gardening and baking the odd loaf. He has recently started consulting at Port Melbourne Medical.
